Safety reminder from the WLPD

The Wonder Lake Police Department would like to remind residents to lock their doors, take their keys out of their vehicles, and be ever vigilant. If you see something suspicious call the department. A recent spate of car burglaries and thefts from our town and various surrounding villages emphasizes that our little town in the country faces the same crime challenges as larger cities. We are working with a host of other departments to try and identify the offenders in these incidents. Also remember to lock your doors and take your keys when pumping gas or running into a store or the post office. These are prime locations for auto thefts.
